PeopleHR

PeopleHR is a cloud-based human resources platform designed for small and mid-sized businesses. It centralises core HR functions such as employee records, absence tracking, and document management in a single, user-friendly interface.

In early 2025, PeopleHR launched PeopleHR Evo, an AI-embedded experience powered by the Access Evo engine. Its first feature, Copilot, acts as an AI HR assistant that answers queries, automates repetitive tasks, and drafts HR content on demand.

Integrations and extensions

PeopleHR integrates with payroll solutions (including Sage and ADP), Slack, Google Drive, Zapier, and more via a public API. 

Core functionality

• Employee records & self-service: Maintain personal and contract details, certifications, and documents; employees access and update their own profiles via web or mobile apps.
• Absence & time management: Track holiday, sickness, and flexible-working requests; log and approve timesheets and expenses.
• Recruitment & onboarding: Applicant tracking system with CV parsing, interview scheduling and offer-letter templates; digital onboarding checklists.
• Performance & learning: Set goals, run appraisals and capture feedback; manage training courses and e-learning modules.
• Reporting & dashboards: Pre-built reports on headcount, turnover, absence, and engagement; exportable charts and data tables.

AI & analytics (PeopleHR Evo)

• Copilot AI assistant: Responds instantly to HR questions (e.g., “How do I handle a grievance?”), summarises large documents, drafts policies, and to-do lists, and locates facts across your files.
• Secure environment: All prompts and responses remain confidential and are not used to train external models; role-based controls determine which documents Copilot can access.
